It pays to check your already booked cruise for price reductions! Due to a resident rate special, my cruise price dropped $160.00 today! Awesome! :)

I keep checkin ours. But our Military rate and past guest hasn't had a price drop yet.

That is totally ridiculous! You are going to LOVE the Breeze! I sailed on her last January! The only reason I'm not sailing on the Breeze next Jan is because I really like the itinerary on the Freedom.

That's quite a jump in price :eek: Too bad it didn't go down that much! Has to be another glitch with Carnival's site. Also can't get on to book any excursions for the last 3 days. Bon Voyage is working but excursions aren't. Very Frustrating :mad:

My Jan sailing on the Breeze has gone down about $120 in the past couple weeks!!!

Mine hasn't changed for the OV I booked; however, I was able to move to a cove balcony for less than $200; previously, the difference was $500.

My October cruise on Victory decreased by $120. I couldn't believe my eyes. Got the email confirming the price drop (I'm not paid in full yet) a few hours ago!

My Victory balcony stayed the same. End of Sept., actually went up because past guest rate has disappeared. There is a resident rate that is the same as what we have paid.

You need to check for yourself. The cruise line will NOT notify you. My Oct cruise has dropped $200 since I booked it!:D

After multiple price drops about a month ago our prices haven't budged (up or down) since then. It's a Christmas cruise so I expect it to sell out. Consequently I doubt too many additional price drops coming our way :(

It may be that that particular category is sold out.

If your category sells out, the price stays the same? Just curious how it works since the base price changes for like an interior, balcony, suite and then you choose to upgrade to another floor or whatever. Shouldn't you still get the price drop if the base price for a balcony changed? The upgrade doesn't change obviously... Sorry if my question is confusing.

Mine dropped $160 for the Breeze in February today as well. TN resident rate. I did have to pay the full deposit amount which was an additional $300 but it was going to have to be paid eventually anyway.

No drop for the casino rate - but they did drop a few hundred over the past month - enough for me to book an OS!

Congratulations on your price drops. I check mine every day, but no drops yet. However, I booked them when the rates had already dropped tremendously. But I'll keep checking......love that OBC.

Congrats op ! I had a price drop of $200 yesterday on my Hawaii cruise. I have a total of $1250 obc, in price drops, $200 future cruise credit, $200 MasterCard promotion , $200 from my booking agency, $50 Carnival .....I love Early Saver when you can pull this off !!!

Thank you so much for this. I'm calling Carnival on my lunch break to upgrade from Riviera to Upper on the Freedom in September. We'll also have $20 obc!
