Cayman Time?

I have a related question. We are going in August so that means that Grand Cayman is on Houston time. So what time is the ship on? We will be on Freedom of the Seas sailing out of Port Canaveral. Does the ship change time zones as it sails west or does it stay on Florida time the whole trip?

Bottom line - we are scheduled to dock at 8am according to our schedule and leave at 4pm. Does that mean it will be 7am to 3pm local time?

If I remember correctly the ship stays on FL time the entire trip. Every port you go to you need to stay on ship time. So you will need to adjust your watches to that time the entire trip. At least that is what CCL does. They were good about reminding people about that. Announcements quite often and it was in the daily itineraries.

OK

If we are in the Cayman Islands on Oct, 2 Our schedule says we will we will be in port 7:am to 4:pm.

So with the U.S. observing daylight savings time, Cayman time will be 6:am to 3:pm for booking excursion.

Am i correct?

I beleive daylight savings time ends the second Sunday in November. So you would be correct with your times and as I have heard many many times STAY on ship time. I guess ill be on cayman time and EST when I leave so there will be no confusion :):)
