CurlyQ132 Posted August 10, 2013 Author #52 Share Posted August 10, 2013 GREAT REVIEW!!! Do you remember what travel items were in the bathroom on your trip? We sail her on Sunday and Im trying to pack light due to the damn baggage fees! Thanks!! Shampoo and a body wash. Soap and breathe rite strips. Not anything else. We also had a blow dryer in the room so that should save on some baggage space. Have a wonderful trip!
kapcruiser Posted August 10, 2013 #53 Share Posted August 10, 2013 Thanks for great review! We cant wait to sail on breeze in 2 months. I am correct in thinking that your time dining is in sapphire dining room? Also, is there a extra charge for brunch?
kdinkus1 Posted August 11, 2013 #54 Share Posted August 11, 2013 I was on a B2B with the 1st week being the 6 day (Sun to Sat) and the 1st Formal night was on Monday the 2nd night of the cruise, then the 2nd formal night was on Thursday night. On the 8 day (Sat to Sun) the 1st formal night was on Sunday and the last one was on Friday. It's pretty typical fleetwide for the 1st formal night to be the 1st seaday and the 2nd formal night to be the night before the last night of the cruise. Open seating traditional breakfast on port days was from 7:00 to 9:00. The brunch on sea days was from 8:30 to 1:00 We will be on the same 6 & 8 day cruises ourselves in October. Could you please tell me how Carnival handles the back-to-back cruising as far as customs between the two cruises? We will be in the same room for the 14 days (room 8383) and have no idea what to expect. Thanks for any help given.
papillon cruiser Posted August 11, 2013 #55 Share Posted August 11, 2013 We are doing the 6 and 8 day in September. We haven't done a b2b in Miami but in new Orleans we had to meet at a specified spot at 10 or 10:30. They take the group through customs and you get your new s&s card and go back right back on. Most ships give you a fruit basket and bottle of wine for the second cruise. The only time we didn't get one was on the ecstscy but that was a 4 and 5 day b2b. beachbabexoxo Posted September 2, 2013 #58 Share Posted September 2, 2013 I also have 15 and 17 year old girls going on the Breeze 8 day cruise in December. How did your girls like the club? Do they have anything to add from the teens perspective??

There were quite a few people doing that B2B as the 2nd week was the Bloggers cruise. So they had us meeting in the main theater where they came and got our current S&S cards then brought them back with our new S&S cards. They had done the dinging us off and back on the ship at guest services. Then we were escorted off the ship turned in our customs form and right back onto the ship. We didn't have to ding our cards in either direction. We probably had the ship to ourselves for about 30 minutes before general embarkation began. Not much was open yet.
