Classic package drinks list please

Jo and Rob

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have a comprehensive list of all the drinks from water to coffees, wine to cocktails and soda to frozen drinks included on the classic alcohol package only please.

Rob doesn't want to discover a drink he could have had on the last day and would really appreciate a list of drinks. Can I get a mud slide? Whiskey and coke?

I'm sure if someone has a classic only list a massive amount of cruise critic passengers would be extremely grateful (including me :o) as many of us have been fortunate enough to get the classic package as part of the booking.

We have no interest in drinking what is not included or upgrading to premium but want to make sure we make the most of the package included. ;)

Thank you as always my cruise critic buddies. :)

The following from the Celebrity web site identifies the brands offered in the Classic Beverage package.

Soda

Coke, Diet Coke, Fanta Orange, Coke Zero, Sprite, Diet Sprite, Barqs

Beer

Coors Light, Becks, Heineken, Amstel Light, Corona, Heineken Light, Franziskaner, Dos Equis, Red Stripe, Samuel Adams, Leffe, O'Doul's Non-Alcoholic

Liquor/Spirits

Johnny Walker Red, Dewars White Label, J & B, Cutty Sark, Canadian Club, Seagram's VO, Seagram's 7, Jameson, Jim Beam, Jack Daniel's, Courvoisier VS, Carlos 1, Metaxa 5 Star Classic, Hennessy VS, Beefeaters, Tanqueray, Absolut, Smirnoff, Stolichnaya, Three Olives, Bacardi, Malibu, Captain Morgan Original Spiced, Jose Cuervo, Disaronno Amaretto, Bailey's Irish Cream, Frangelico, Drambuie, Sambuca, Kahlua, Bolini

Wine Brands

St. Francis, J & H Selbach, Southern Right, Paul Jaboulet, Jean Luc Colombo, Beringer, Heron's Nest, Tenuta de Nozzole, Rutherford Ranch, Marques de la Concordia.

Water

Several “generic” Brands of water – does not include Evian, San Pellegrio and Vitamin waters

The Classic package also will not include: (1) “large” martinis served at the Martini Bar, (2) Specialty Drinks at the Molecular Bar and (3) fresh squeezed orange juice.

Any drink up to $8.00 in price, plus the 15% gratuity, is usually included in the Classic Package. For those traveling from a British port, the price lists in most of the bars will identify a price for the beverage with the 15% gratuity included. For example, an $8.00 drink will be identified as costing $9.25.

If in doubt about whether or not the beverage you want to purchase is included in the Classic package, just ask the bartender or server. They usually will know the answer or check in the computer before serving the beverage.

Hope this helps,

vfr

Brilliant! That is the danger of researching too early you forget what the answer is!!:o

I've been using the search tool for days trying to find the answer without all the premium drinks included. It looks like freshly squeezed orange juice is included after all.

If anyone is interested, i compiled a list of the informations here and all whats found on celebrity's website into a pdf to take on my next cruise. Just a quick one, if you guide me to more informations i will compile a new version.

I will be on a cruise on friday, so it could take a while. However, i might get some informations that can be added, too.

Here is the deal, ask the bartender if you can get the ******* drink with the classic package. You would be surprised what they can make you. People think they have to have the premium package to drink at the Martini bar, not true.

I have found that if I am not sure I ask can I get this drink on the classic package.

The bar staff has always been helpful.

On the other hand if you just order a drink thinking its included and then get a bill for it, it doesnt leave a good taste in your mouth.

What about Baileys on the rocks? Is that under $8?

Yes, my friend had one every night after dinner last week.

At the martini bar, there are three martini choices for those with the classic package -- martini, appletini and cosmo. All are the same size as the $10 versions, but made with Absolut instead of Grey Goose.

It's listed under classic package on unipac's pdf so I assume so, enjoy :)

Thank you!

If you have prepaid your gratuities and have the classic drink package

How does that work with the $8 limit if you can see what I mean?

Really not sure what you're asking. But, FYI, pre-paid gratuities don't include bar staff. That's why 15% is added to drink prices and to beverage packages.

Perfect!:) After reading this I don't think it makes sense (for us) to upgrade to the premium package.

Molecular bar, Pellegrino, perrier and red bull justify the $11,50/day for me, it's a personnal choice.

Do you mean you have a classic drinks package as a special offer i.e FOC? If so I understand the 15% is included. If you are purchasing the package you will pay the 15% charge when you pay for the package. As highrisesea has already said, pre-paid gratuities are a completely separate item and do not affect this charge. Even if you pre-pay your tips and buy drinks as you go, you will still pay the 15% on top of the cost of the drink.

If you are sailing out of Southampton the drinks service charge is factored into the price so you won't see it as an additional charge when paying for drinks as you go. Because of this if you have the classic package the value of the drink you can have is slightly higher (to allow for the additional charge) but the drinks you can have is exactly the same. :)

In Europe they have to show the prices including service charge/gratuities, and the drinks package limits are higher to reflect this. With the classic package on Europe sailings you can get beers up to $5.75 and other drinks up to $9.20 (prices include gratuity).
