Metboy Posted August 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2013 Hi, I wrote a post yesterday as well. My wife has trouble walking and does not swim well. I know Tobacco Bay is a calm beach. Does anyone know a calm beach, with not to much walking? Thanks.
Studebaker59 Posted August 15, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 15, 2013 Snorkel Park Beach is near the ship. It's in the Royal Naval Dockyard. Ask how close to Snorkel Park the free tram from the ship to the Dockyard will take you. www.snorkelparkbeach.com

If i remember correctly, Tobacco Bay is a fairly long walk from St George where the ferry would drop you off, I would recommend taking a cab there, but it is a very calm.... and beautiful beach. messy Posted August 15, 2013 #6 Share Posted August 15, 2013 You may want to post your question on the Ports of Call / Bermuda thread. There is a lot of info about the beaches there. M

negn Posted August 15, 2013 #8 Share Posted August 15, 2013 Ferry will dock in St George but there is a walk to Tobacco Beach and mostly up hill. Beach does have all the mentioned facilities. Why not try Honeymoon Beach ? Take a feeY into town and then you can bus it to beach Bus stop is right at the beach. There is a hill down (and up) but an enterprising individual has a service to drive you either (or both ) ways for $1 or

JJS329 Posted August 16, 2013 #10 Share Posted August 16, 2013 Horseshoe Bay Beach is very calm. The transfer through the ship is worth it.
