MardiGras316 Posted October 30, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2013 Which Holiday Inn? The one near Camden Yards or the one near the Inner Harbor? Did you contact the hotel directly to get the $139 rate which included the shuttle, parking, and free breakfast? Thanks! Tricia

Have you stayed there before? How reliable is the transport to and from the port? I looked at the Holiday Inn on Russell and we would need one night at the beginning of a holiday weekend in May 2014 when the Orioles are doing four nights of games. Might be kind of chaotic near the stadiums. Thanks!

jcl410 Posted November 1, 2013 #9 Share Posted November 1, 2013 It's the Holiday Inn on Russell Street and I booked it thru stay123.com Be aware that there is ongoing construction on Russel Street; there have one lane closed each way for utility construction for the new casino. (There is also a Raven's home game on 12/8!) Aloha, John

(There is also a Raven's home game on 12/8!) Aloha, John We bought FTTF so I think we will plan on leaving for the Port around 10 or so. Plenty of time to get there. But maybe I will have my husband look for an alternative hotel just in case
sandy toes Posted November 7, 2013 #11 Share Posted November 7, 2013 Plenty of time and there are other routes if the road is bad or traffic is backed up. I have had family stay there several times and the shuttle is scheduled when you arrive for the next day. As long as you are on by 11 even with the worse traffic, you can easily make a 15-20 min drive over the next few hours!!! Have a great cruise.
