Giron75 Posted July 4, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2005 I was wondering if my 16 yr old niece can use her school Id as her photo Id. (I don't believe its "govt." issued). She is using her passport to prove citizenship. She does not have a drivers license. If she can't use her school id, what other options do we have? Thanks in advance!!!!!:D

serene56 Posted July 5, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 5, 2005 Cotton: If we have a passport--never used one in the past. We needed photo ids to get back on the ship in some ports. Since most people dont carry passports off--what photo will they use.? And what do Candians use coz I thought their passports are confiscated til we get back A govt issue photo can be had at any DMV (its called a non drivers license.) Sekhmet Posted July 5, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 5, 2005 As UK citizens, our passports are also usually taken by the ship for the duration, and we don't have photo driving licences. The only thing we have needed to get back on board has been our sign-and-sail card. As an afterthought, we do each carry photocopies of both our passports with us. serene56 Posted July 5, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 5, 2005 I remember needing a photo id for Cozumel. We were not allowed on the pier without an id.
