megann831 Posted September 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2013 We booked a suite instead of a balcony, which we usually get, because we're traveling with our 2 and 4 year old. I'm wondering if you think this is a good decision? Will it really give up much more space? It has a bath tub so at the very least I figure this will help with the kids. I also remember reading something about prior boarding. Do we get to go to the front of the line every time we get on and off the boat, or is there just a special line when boarding for the 1st time on the first day and at the end of our trip? SueG Posted September 21, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2013 It will definitely give you the space you need.
nybumpkin Posted September 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2013 You will like the extra space, as well as the tub in the bathroom. (Our first cruise we put 5 of us - DH, me, and sons 13, 8 and 4 - in a balcony room on Carnival Victory.:p) However, your perks will be limited to priority boarding the first day and debarkation when you return. No special debarkation at ports.
