Luckybrownie Posted September 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Has anyone had 4 adults in a MS Balcony cabin with a pullman bed on the Breakaway? staying on deck 14 was wondering what it was like and would you do it again with 4 in a cabin. where is the pullman bed and is it comfortable? thanks for the feed back:D
Charlie4 Posted September 27, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 27, 2013 I was in 9714, with an X LAREGE balcony, by myself. there was a couch that did not pull out and seemed hard. There was a small closet, and very little shelving. One person can walk in front of bed at the time. I would save get a cabin, with the bed next to the balacony, that will give you more room near the closet.

If you don't plan on spending much time in your cabin, it should be OK. Four adults on the balcony will be a tight squeeze too. Whether the Pullman is comfortable will depend on the user, but you always ask the steward for a topper. You might consider a family inside cabin (if available) and you'll save lots of $$$$. CRAustin Posted September 29, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 29, 2013 I was considering the same thing and realized there was no way 4 of us would fit on the balcony, and then was concerned about so much luggage (3 daughters 20 somethings). At first I had an aft balcony, then I switched to a large balcony deck 9 and then I realized for about $500 more I could get an inside cabin for two of my girls across the hall. This is on the Getaway which is same as the Breakaway (which I sailed in Aug). So now we have 2 cabins - a large balcony and an interior and everyone should be comfortable. I was surprised at the cost difference - not much - you get 10% off the 2nd cabin for friends and family.

flhawkeye Posted September 29, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 29, 2013 And imagine 4 people trying to share that tiny bathroom and trying to get dressed! I cannot imagine it!
