jst Posted November 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2013 (edited) I am trying to find out the size allowed of a carryon bag when you go thru the TSA check-in at Galveston? I believe I saw one of the dimensions was 24" but can't remember the others. We usually carry a 22" but would like too use the bigger one. Here's a link for Cruise Critic's Gulf Coast departures http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=414 that might be helpful.

urbanhawk Posted November 5, 2013 #4 Share Posted November 5, 2013 I just happened to check today for carry ons (seeing if I can pack for a cruise, and not to check a bag-I don't want to pay the fee-we'll see-the jury is still out on that one!); at least for United, it is 45 linear inches, or 14" x 9" x 22". (I'm assuming that's fairly standard for the airlines). As someone mentioned, TSA does not limit the size...
