Cookson Posted November 16, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2013 Hey all, we had to cancel our upcoming cruise in February. We cancelled the cruise in the time period where we would get a full refund... However, I don't see anything on Carnivals website where it states how long it should take to get the refund back in the account. I know people might say it depends on the bank. I'm with a Credit Union and I basically used my debit card(but can be used as a credit card too....). We cancelled it yesterday late afternoon... so from your experiences, how long should it take. Thanks.

arby70 Posted November 17, 2013 #7 Share Posted November 17, 2013 I had to cancel our cruise and all the excursions I paid for last fall. It only took 2 or 3 days to appear as a credit on our credit card. I thought it was very quick.
missria Posted November 17, 2013 #8 Share Posted November 17, 2013 We also recently canceled our cruise for February so we could book later in the same month. I canceled on a Friday and my refund was back in my credit union by that Sunday. I was surprised at how easy the whole transaction went...and all in all I only ended up losing $100 since the rest of the deposit from the initial cruise went towards the new booking :)
