CityGirlInBurbs Posted December 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 10, 2013 My family and I just returned from an RC cruise. We've been getting 2 cabins per cruise, a JS and regular cabin. We book one room under DH and one under me, so that kids can have their own room. I've been told that regardless of how the cabins are booked, the larger amount of points gets credited to both members. First cruise the JS was under my name, this time under his. However, RC has only credited me for the regular cabin. Can someone explain to me how this works? It's making the difference of staying gold or crossing over. Thanks! BillB48 Posted December 10, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 10, 2013 Hi CGinBurbs, another welcome aboard and in spite of name of this forum, what Keith said is probably where you will get the most informed answer. However, the quick answer as I understand it... while if you are the one booking the lesser room, you will still be recognized at an equal level as your DH even if he should have more actual points thereby going platinum. In other words, when he goes platinum you will too even though your point total won't put you in that catagory.
