Atomic911 Posted December 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Can we book a Transfer from Fort Lauderdale Cruiseport to Miami Airport at the Ship? What must we pay? LG Markus
lor74 Posted December 14, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 14, 2013 I believe it is $24pp each way between MIA and Port Everglades. If you booked through a TA, call them, or Princess if you booked directly with them. I think your flight will need to be at 1pm or later to do it. Minoushka Posted December 14, 2013 #3 Share Posted December 14, 2013 Lots of shuttles around for less .....we went from Miami port to Fll our hotel for 20$each Lots of shuttles take you to either airport Take a porter tell him you want the shuttle to wherever he will find it for you Bon Voyage
eandj Posted December 14, 2013 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2013 (edited) Go to the Florida departures board. There are lots of ideas for that shuttle service with costs and recommendations. Booking any transportation thru the cruiselines will be be more expensive and certainly not as efficient as you'll need to wait for the big coach buses to load/unload. I am not sure that shuttles are hanging around Port Everglades looking for fares to MIA.

Maybe I just missed them. IMHO, the easiest and most reasonable is the Princess transfer to MIA.
Minoushka Posted December 14, 2013 #7 Share Posted December 14, 2013 The porters know where they are That is my repeated experience ...have done this many times ...just ask
lor74 Posted December 14, 2013 #8 Share Posted December 14, 2013 I don't think you will find cheaper than Princess for a shuttle to MIA. It might be easy to find transport to somewhere in Miami, but not necessarily the airport, where it appears a lot of companies no longer go. I am still researching for myself, as I am also flying through MIA Sent from my iPhone using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app

lor74 Posted December 15, 2013 #10 Share Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) sas no longer services MIA, and neither do most of the others....they can take you to Miami, but not the airport Sent from my iPhone using Cruise Critic Forums mobile app Edited December 15, 2013 by lor74
caribill Posted December 15, 2013 #11 Share Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) sas no longer services MIA, and neither do most of the others....they can take you to Miami, but not the airport Right. They are not allowed to pick up or drop off at MIA because of permit restrictions. We have used SAS from the port of Miami to FLL. missyoulikegravy Posted December 15, 2013 #12 Share Posted December 15, 2013 I have a cruise that arrives in Fort Lauderdale. Our flight out of Miami departs at 9 pm. We decided to rent a car and return it back to the Miami airport. Without a gas top up, it is costing us around $65 for 10 hours... Maybe this is an idea for you?
