I lived in Hessich Oldendorf (in between Hameln and Rinteln) for three years back in the 80s and loved it! How's your weather this winter? Not as good as Princess Cay I imagine! :)

Laura, I know Hessisch Oldendorf, because I am from Lower Saxony :-) The winter is very mild this year - around 48°

Very few folks visiting Princess Cays realize that they also can exit the immediate area and take a very pleasant walk up to the main highway.

 

Immediately out side the gate there are local vendors and a lagoon. The walk to the highway along the road is about 1/2 mile. If you are looking for a bit of exercise and something different just exit the gate (you need to show your Princess card exiting and entering).

We have been to Eleuthera several times and love it. I was wondering if it would be possible to rent a car and drive around for a while. There are so many beautiful, secluded beaches near Princess's Cay.
