Help Vendamm vs Amsterdam

We are booked on the Amsterdam 15 day R/T to Hawaii in April of 06 out of San Diego. However we are also attracted to the Vendamm 18 day R/T to Hawaii out of Seattle. Travel to both ports is same distance for us. Cruises depart around same time.

 

We currently have a mini-suite on the veranda deck aft 3 doors from the back deck. (Amsterdam)

 

The Vendamm has a mini suite gaurentee for about the same money?

 

We need help choosing. If you have pics that would be great.

There is a web site where they have a virtual tour of various ships, but unfortunately we are not allowed to state the name of it on this board. Do a search through Google and you may find it - just type in Veendam or Amsterdam.

 

Amsterdam is 61,000 ton with 1380 paxs and a middle set of elevators. Veendam is 55.451 tons with 1266 pax and no middle elevators. They are very similar - Amsterdam is just larger.

 

It's really your choice.
