Luckeebe Posted January 12, 2014 #26 Share Posted January 12, 2014 We were seated at large, very long tables. That's great. As a solo I'm going to sign up for this on my upcoming TA. laseiber Posted January 12, 2014 #27 Share Posted January 12, 2014 I did this on my last Exployer of the Seas with my cousin in December. Like the other person said, cheesy but a lot of fun and the food was great. Unlimited champagne at the beginning and unlimited wine at dinner. Enjoy. Have you signed up for the Mix and Mingle if so will see you there on the 19th or 20th.

Ron Don Posted January 14, 2014 #30 Share Posted January 14, 2014 The last time we did the Mystery Dinner, it was on the 5th or 6th night of a 10 night trip. We just registered for one on the Navigator, which was to be on the 5th night of a 7 night venue but we got bumped to the 1st night (I assume there were too many people that signed up for the 5th night). The reservations desk was unable to help with keeping our reservation for later in the week so we cancelled as the 1st night.... would be too hectic, however, we really like the venue. krev Posted January 14, 2014 #31 Share Posted January 14, 2014 We did this last year on Adventure. When we started out in the lounge you were given a seating assignment, we were assigned to a group that was probably 10 years older than us and I thought "oh great we're with the old folks" well nothing was further from the truth! These were very experienced cruisers and we had an absolute riot! As others have said it was totally cheesy but the food was wonderful, free flowing wine and so much fun! I'd do it again in a heart beat. Just don't expect Oscar winning performances!! Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
JF - retired RRT Posted January 14, 2014 #32 Share Posted January 14, 2014 How much does it cost? And are there any options for non-drinkers?

Mary There is a degree of audience participation in the process of querying the actors and guessing the mystery. The actors were from the RC singers and dancers. rcidclcruising Posted January 14, 2014 #35 Share Posted January 14, 2014 We are booked for the Mystery Dinner on FOS in March. We are looking forward to it! Haven't done it before but I think it will be a great opportunity to meet some other cruisers! It's always fun to see people later and have a good laugh of memories made. :D
