marcyjane Posted January 20, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Question for all you veteran RCI cruisers. I have sailed with other cruise lines and if you qualify you may received a complentary basket or plate of stawberries etc. in you cabin. I had a email address for this but not sure it was RCI's. My computer crashed months back and got a new one and lost all bookmarks that had the information to email about. Again this may have been a different cruise line so didn't know if RCI had such a email or did this. Thanks, Marcy

cruzin lady Posted January 20, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 20, 2014 Are you a Crown and Anchor Society member? If so, do you have a preference page to show what you want? I'm not sure what level one has to be to get the goodies, but someone will come along and fill you in. Happy sailing. Cruzin Lady

That is our grandson born back in August. He has a big sister who will be 5 this July. When she wants to, she will sit and let us take her picture. AmyWrites Posted January 20, 2014 #17 Share Posted January 20, 2014 I got complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries in my last cruise, but only because I got very sick one night, threw up all over the bed. Think they felt bad for me. Trust me, you'd rather be okay than get sick just for strawberries :p

lakelorain Posted January 21, 2014 #21 Share Posted January 21, 2014 We have received chocolate covered strawberries on every cruise since we became Diamond. Usually these arrived late afternoon of the first formal night. On two cruises, we also received chocolate covered cookies one night.
lady_cruiser Posted January 21, 2014 #22 Share Posted January 21, 2014 Thanks, Rosie:) Thanks but looks like I was wrong. Suites get fruit platters. Diamond + get chocolate strawberries. Thanks, I didn't know that. Its been awhile since we have sailed in a GS. Now we can only afford Jr. Suites and I know that we don't get any fruit platters or chocolate strawberries. BUT come to think of it, we have been getting a platter of cookies.
ARCruisinNana Posted January 21, 2014 #23 Share Posted January 21, 2014 The last few cruises I have been on I haven't received any strawberries, cheese plate or cookies. These cruises were all in JSs and I'm in the upper end of D+. I just thought they must have done away with the Chef's Amenity. It doesn't really matter since I can get them each evening in the CL. I think some ships are better than others in delivering special treats.
