JillinCalgary Posted January 23, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 23, 2014 Could someone please tell me how large (small! lol) the casino's are onboard Windstar ships? The particular ship we are looking at is the Wind Surf. And is it strictly tables or are there some slot machines as well. Also, are they well frequented? Of course this depends on the crowd, I realize that. Anyone with any insight it would be much appreciated! Please and thank you!
6rugrats Posted January 23, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 23, 2014 They aren't large, but of course, the one on Windsurf is larger. Yes, they have slot machines. I don't gamble, but while walking by, I have never seen them very full, but this would vary by cruise.
landj999 Posted January 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2014 Probably about 10 slots, but they were Very generous in Dec.
Binky66 Posted January 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Wind Surf casino has about 30-40 slots, one roulette table and four card tables for BJ. They also run one BJ tournament during the cruise. I was on Wind Surf Xmas week and never saw more than one BJ table open and very few slot players, my wife played slots and thought they were very tight. ducklite Posted January 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 28, 2014 I'm not remembering 30-40 slots, more like 15-20. A couple/few card tables, one roulette, and I thought craps, but could be wrong. There were never more than a dozen people on our B2B, some nights it went empty all night. On the nights it was used, it seemed like it was the same 4-6 people using it. witt's end Posted February 26, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 26, 2014 The slots are very old! If you are excited by slots, don't hold your breath. Approx. 25 on WindSurf (plus video poker) and half that on the sister ships.
