PC Cruisin Posted January 26, 2014 Author #26 Share Posted January 26, 2014 After the bus tour- they take you to this small shopping area. You can buy crafts and other things plus you can buy lunch. PC Cruisin Posted January 26, 2014 Author #28 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Taking the tender back to the ship and I took another picture of the Conquest: After the long tour- it was a warm day. I heard a lot of other excursions were cancelled because all the rain they had the day before in Belize. Everyone is Belize thought it was cold this day. All wearing big jackets and beanie caps. It had to be close to the 75 that day. After we got back onto the ship- we all took showers and then headed to the MDR for dinner. Lasagna- Fried vegetable spring rolls- Tomato and mozzarella-
PC Cruisin Posted January 26, 2014 Author #29 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Fried Shrimp- Ok, I usually don't complain about the food very often but this was BAD- I ordered the pumpkin pie- I guess it was on the low calorie menu but how in the world can they go wrong making this- When I tried to eat it- it was rubbery and you could bounce a spoon off of it- Crazy- Chocolate Melting Cake- After dinner we walked around some- played in the casino- never really won anything- went to the lounge to listen to live music- and of course went to the comedy show! I found this on the way on the lido deck- Our towel animal for the night- Stingray! Up Next- Mahogany Bay, Roatan

PC Cruisin Posted January 26, 2014 Author #34 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Day 6- Last port day- Mahogany Bay, Roatan - When we woke up it was a cloudy day - It was suppose to be our last beach day but who cares - it's still better than being at work! Anyways, we got up and headed for breakfast in the lido deck. We had Blue Iguana, again! We spotted some chair hogs (towel animals) around the pool area. We got off the ship and headed to the beach area. We were able to ride on the Magical Flying Beach Chair and view the pretty surroundings. We made it a great day. We had to be back on the ship early but that was okay since tonight was the VIFP party for (gold, platinum and diamond members on Carnival) Yippee, we were invited! Free drinks and appetizers for an hour. It was second elegant night, too. So, we did dress up. Dinner was wonderful. Pictures to follow: Breakfast tacos- Breakfast burrito- Those darn chair hogs are out again- Getting off the ship is a breeze. Never a line for us. My DH must of been hungry- he had 2 guy burgers this day! Afterwards- we went back to our cabin to get ready for the VIFP party for (gold, platinum and diamond members on Carnival) Plus it was the second elegant night! We got to the door and handed over our invitations. They gave us mardi gras beads. So the party begins!
