Jimbo Posted January 29, 2014 Author #2 Share Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) as per http://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ Pilot boat just met them. Pilot is on and they are moving fast.......looks like arrival time might be even sooner! Wonder how many radio and Tv stations will be there to meet them? lakelorain Posted January 29, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) The estimate must be in EST even thought it says UTC or they would be here already. Edited January 29, 2014 by lakelorain
FLACRUISER99 Posted January 29, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) I thought utc was later than Eastern time by 5 or 6 hours depending on whether we are in standard or daylight savings time.EST +5hrs=UTCEDT +4hrs=UTC Edited January 29, 2014 by FLACRUISER99

I didn't do the minus 5 right anyways lol but from what I looked up it is minus 5 or minus 4 depending on EDT or EST. http://www.wsanford.com/~wsanford/exo/TCT.html http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=98 I could be wrong since I already couldn't do simple math.:o
Jimbo Posted January 29, 2014 Author #12 Share Posted January 29, 2014 (edited) They have to back off on the speed now, so I'm figuring a little after 2pm they should be docked. Should make alot of people happy to get off the ship in the daylight and head home. Edited January 29, 2014 by Jimbo

Jimbo Posted January 29, 2014 Author #24 Share Posted January 29, 2014 I hope they interview some passengers who didn't get sick and still had a great cruise! Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app I don't think anyone in their right mind is going to put this cruise in any of their top ten cruises of all time. I think you are kidding yourself if you say that. This was a far from a normal cruise. Lets get real! Jimbo:)
Mykitteh Posted January 29, 2014 #25 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Are you on the ship? Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app You can tell by watching the NY Harbor cam site...or any major news network showing live footage. Longest I've seen the harbor cam focus on a ship.
