KenMo Posted February 3, 2014 #11 Share Posted February 3, 2014 are you just posting to run up your post count? why confuse people? I'm not trying to confuse anybody. I've already stated that passports are not required. I'm confused by D4's post. D4 said "It's true for US citizens." That's all he posted. I would like some clarification of his post. Is he saying the US citizens must have a passport?? Since you aren't D4, I'm guessing you can't clarify anything.

Since you aren't D4, I'm guessing you can't clarify anything. The comment "it's true for U. S. citizens" was to the QUESTION. In other words, yes it's true you don't need a passport on closed-loop cruises PROVIDED YOU ARE A U.S. CITIZEN. If you aren't you'll need a passport. I just wanted to point out that the posts saying you don't need a passport made the assumption that the poster is a US citizen.

"Passports are not required on closed-loop cruises." Because this is only true for US citizens and I am not a US citizen, you presumed everyone on a closed loop cruise was a US Citizen including the OP:p
