Smuncha Luncha Posted February 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2014 We're trying to arrange for transportation the morning we arrive back into POM after our Breeze cruise next month. I recall last year on the Breeze that they wanted us out of our cabins by a certain time, so we had to wait around for awhile on the ship before our pre-arranged transportation arrived. Any recent Breeze cruisers remember what time you had to be out of your cabin by? We're planning on doing self-assist, so timing of getting off the ship isn't a big concern. We have a later flight out of FLL, so we're not in a big hurry to get off the ship. :)

illinoisfive Posted February 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2014 I was on the Breeze in December 2013. If I remember correctly, self assist was the first group to be called off the ship (like 7:30 AM) They do that because they want all of the people with their luggage off of the ship so that the masses can exit easier. We did not do self assist and leisurely went to breakfast in the mdr and then went back to our room and gathered our carryon luggage and proceeded to deck 3 to wait for our number to be called. We sat there comfortably until approx. 10:30 AM. Our room steward told us there was no rush. He was very nice. Hope this helps.
cruise n' fool Posted February 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Just off the breeze 1/26 and had to out if room by 8:30. It's always such a sad day leaving the boat!!
cccer Posted February 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2014 If you do self assist, they will let you off as soon as they open it up. If you don't leave then, you will have to wait with the others. If you are planning to do self assist, not sure why timing is not a big deal. If you have a later flight just do regular disembark and have trans find you then. Cruisin4US Posted February 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 6, 2014 So if you are doing self-assist, and leave the ship whenever you want to, where do you wait with all your luggage?

So if you are doing self-assist, and leave the ship whenever you want to, where do you wait with all your luggage? We waited either in the Lido buffet area or by one of the pools, catching those last few rays of sunshine. We had our luggage with us. Then we disembarked when we wanted. (Had to, technically, because we never really WANTED to. ;))
sjcruiser Posted February 6, 2014 #9 Share Posted February 6, 2014 We did self-assist in August, and was out our rooms by 7:30 went to breakfast, and was off the ship by 9:00 or so. We left our room after we watched custom board the ship.
goofytoo Posted February 7, 2014 #10 Share Posted February 7, 2014 We just got off the ship On February 1. They asked people to leave their rooms around 8:30 - 9:00. Customs was slow. Debarkation was a mess.
Smuncha Luncha Posted February 7, 2014 Author #11 Share Posted February 7, 2014 Thanks for the replies. It sounds like for the most part, they ask you to be out of your cabin by 8:30 regardless of how long the debarkation process is taking. I can understand that since the stewards are anxious to start turning them over for the next lucky guests.
