bar1068 Posted February 11, 2014 #11 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Love the Elation. Sunday night around 11ish after you renter the river you'll pass the Sunshine going out on her 7 day cruise. That video is pretty cool...I suppose I could try my hand at "duplicating" that video when we sail the Sunshine repo cruise out of NOLA in April.... We sailed the Sunshine TA back in November....coming up the Mississippi heading to NOLA...the Sunshine stopped and anchored part way up the river so the CBP agents could board and interview the crew coming to the US for the first time....we sat on the river about 5-6 hours...during that time the Elation passed us heading out....was pretty cool watching another cruise ship pass by that close!! kajunkroozer Posted February 11, 2014 #12 Share Posted February 11, 2014 Cool vid, the room we stayed in on our November 18 cruise was just below and aft of the captains suite. We had a good view of their enormous balcony.
Spaniel Lover Posted February 12, 2014 #13 Share Posted February 12, 2014 Woo hoo! I'm the one that shot that video. Does this mean I'm famous now?!? You can see quite a few other Carnival time lapse videos I've shot over on my YouTube channel. Besides time lapse videos, there are a LOT of other interesting cruise videos there. My personal favorite is that I shot in Miami. Enjoy!
