Depends on your time in the airport waiting for bags and if you are the last coach waiting for the "last passenger" - I would guess you would be at the ship by 5.30pm latest if your flight is on time - possibly even 5pm. Then you will have to check in at the ship.
vinniega64 Posted February 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) just back last week from the celebration, about 45 mins from the airport to the port.......... weather was mixed, a bit windy last week, spent two nights docked in Gran Canaria..... some of the sailings were a bit rough its your luck with the weather, even thought it was a bit rough, still got a great tan, had a ball, brilliant cruise, just make the best of whatever happens Edited February 25, 2014 by vinniega64
shellsailor Posted February 25, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2014 Hi Dingadong , We arrive airport 14.20 from Newcastle for same. Airport to Santa Cruz is 63 kilo. With on time landing and a bit of luck leaving port quickly, journey should be approx one hour give or take. Then check in,who knows how long for that. Fingers crossed it's done quickly. Enjoy holiday,we are on for two weeks. Shellsailor:):):)

Oh well, I have stocked up with the old sea sick tablets - completely agree - it is just your luck, last summer we couldnt dock at Lesbos and another port was changed because of the weather - you would hardly expect that in the summer, but these things happen, no fault of the staff or ship, but oh, some people still moaned!! Would rather be kept safe to be honest!!! Dont worry, we will have a great time whatever!!!! THANKS!!!:)
