Raenstoirm Posted February 25, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2014 We are planning a RCCL Freedom cruise in May of this year and trying to pick a room. We are getting a JS for the first time! :D. We have tons of options (apparently no one is in a JS on our cruise...hoping that means it will be rather empty in general). I have read that the hump cabins have a smaller balcony if they are connected rooms. We don't want a connected room, so the humps we are looking at don't have the inner door (#38 and #44 are available on both sides of the ship for example). Are those good rooms? Or does it not matter in a JS?
NICruisers Posted February 25, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2014 Hi. Go for a JS guarantee at the best possible price. There are no 'bad' JS's on Freedom class ships and you're going to have a great room with lots of space and a great balcony. Enjoy your cruise. cb at sea Posted February 25, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 25, 2014 No...the balcony is not smaller...but it's no larger, either! It's the same size as any other side facing cabin of the same catagory.
