wmp.dll Posted February 26, 2014 #26 Share Posted February 26, 2014 I want to book one but I'm going to wait to see deck plans, itineraries, and I will probably pick up a couple Next Cruise Certificates and maybe use one of those on an Anthem itin when I get back from Allure. riclop Posted February 26, 2014 #27 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Whats the rush, let the deck plans come out otherwise people will be complaining about the room they picked.
megacruiser Posted February 26, 2014 #28 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Just booked for September in a single balcony at £150 per day. Not too bad considering there are only 12 such cabins. megacruiser
Indy_Girl46 Posted February 26, 2014 #29 Share Posted February 26, 2014 I'm booked too - so excited. Surprised booking opened early though. I just got back from the school run and there was a message from my travel agent to ring them urgently. Glad I didn't stop at Tesco to do some shopping before coming home or I may have missed out. Got the cabin grade we wanted, so all good

Arrowdaz Posted February 26, 2014 #34 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Hi. just booked and we never had to pre pay grats. Hmmmmmmmm, We were told it will be added to every booking automatically on this ship. I may question this then... Did you book direct or through travel agent?

Elizanessie Posted February 26, 2014 #36 Share Posted February 26, 2014 TA we always get them removed. We are going for late sitting for evening meal. We booked the allure last week and got them removed. I would suggest you check on that with regards to removing grats on Anthem as all bookings for Quantum and Anthem now have to prepay grats as they have not said what the actual dining options are. Even though you may have selected Late or Early seating if you check your reservation in "My Cruises" on RCCL website it will say Dining Options will be available Spring 2014. Bobal Posted February 26, 2014 #37 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Also booked for a cheeky 3-nighter. It would never cross my mind to remove grats - and if I did I certainly wouldn't be boasting about it, or suggesting that others did it :(

erniebert Posted February 26, 2014 #42 Share Posted February 26, 2014 I'm seriously considering the transatlantic... I wish we had the same deal here where we could book and then transfer to a different sailing without penalty - I would definitely book if that was the case! UKcruisefan69 Posted February 26, 2014 #43 Share Posted February 26, 2014 erniebert, can't you just book via a US Travel Agent? I know it means you pay in USDollars but that would also mean you could get the same booking terms and conditions.
hitaway4 Posted February 26, 2014 #44 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Bookings are opened for the public now, not just C & A...so book those preferred cabins up!
Arrowdaz Posted February 26, 2014 #45 Share Posted February 26, 2014 We got a couple of the Superior Ocean View cabins, brilliant sized cabins, bigger than the Jnr suites and bigger than the family Jnr suite. & just 49 sq Ft smaller than the grand suite. Very reasonably priced too
Indy_Girl46 Posted February 26, 2014 #46 Share Posted February 26, 2014 We were told the same. Had to pay everything up front. Yes, we had to pre pay gratuities. The TA said that this was because there is only My Time dining available at the moment.

Arrowdaz Posted February 26, 2014 #48 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Which cabins are these? I am not too savvy on the Quantum class yet. They are F grade cabins. Only 8 on the ship though. Priced just below lowest balcony grade cabin.
hitaway4 Posted February 26, 2014 #49 Share Posted February 26, 2014 Which cabins are these? I am not too savvy on the Quantum class yet. I'm not sure where he is finding his info. They did a reclassification of cabins. The deck 6 and 7 JS's were not selling so they reclassified them to "E1's" but they are not bigger and these are "Deluxe" not Superior. They are certainly not the size of the GS's as the GS's are 2 decks tall.
wmp.dll Posted February 26, 2014 #50 Share Posted February 26, 2014 So I'm assuming all of you who booked today, booked a European cruise? I'm more of a Caribbean guy my self so I guess i'll have to wait a couple weeks.
