I have a question; did you leave the card in for the lights all day, every day or did the room steward remove it ? I would think it would make sense to conserve energy. Helen I did back to back cruises and had a different set of room stewards for each cruise. The room stewards always left left the card in the slot; however, they always pulled it up to turn off the lights. The first thing I always did after opening the door was to push the card back down (to turn on the lights). The air conditioning and electrical outlets on the desk always stayed on, they were not effected. The card slot was only for the lights. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
