crazyboutdisney Posted February 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2014 We have only sailed twice and both times on deck 2 midship. I was perfectly happy with this location. We are looking at the Breeze and the only ocean views available are deck 1 midship. We travel with our friends and they dont want to book on deck 1. Is there really any difference?? I dont really understand why they dont want deck 1 and we want to save alittle by not booking a cove balcony. Any thoughts???
geovet Posted February 27, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2014 If it is aft, there may be more noise or vibrations.
Rare Banditswife Posted February 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I may be mistaken, but I thought the Dream class ships had some higher than deck 1 ocean views. So just compromise by booking an ocean view higher up.

All deck 2 midship are cove balcony, which are almost as much as a balcony on deck 6. I would love to book a balcony but really want to try and save a few dollars so we can do an 8 day over a
crazyboutdisney Posted February 27, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted February 27, 2014 If it is aft, there may be more noise or vibrations. It would be midship. There are plenty available. Maybe the noise is what the are concerned about? They really havent said, just that they dont want deck 1.
Tullic Posted February 27, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 27, 2014 I have found no difference between OV on Riviera or Main mid-ship.

Out of Iowa Posted February 27, 2014 #9 Share Posted February 27, 2014 on Port days. Sometimes the exit from the ship is from Deck 1 or the group excursions use Deck 1 to herd their people from the Main Show Lounge...or after the excursion, people head along Deck 1 to mid-shift or other elevators....you might get some "traffic" you didn't expect. Right, but that won't be the case on the Breeze.
