Reduit Beach in Rodney Bay is your best bet - long stretch of beach, chairs/umbrellas for rent, watersports for rent, good swimming area, many restaurants in the area including Spinnakers right on the beach, vendors for local goods, etc. It is about 25-30 minutes north of the port and a taxi costs $30US for up to 3 people one way, and will drop you right at Spinnakers area for chairs, etc.
