AgileBoxer Posted February 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Maybe it's because the search feature is down or maybe I am just missing them. Has ANYONE seen any Legend reviews or pictures this week from cruisers who sailed out of dry dock? I've read a few sentences that people have posted here and there, but I haven't seen a full review yet. Are there any out there that someone can direct me to whether it be on Cruise Critic or another site?
Mysticks1 Posted February 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 28, 2014 (edited) I haven't noticed any. It usually takes time for someone to put together a full review, especially if there are pictures to upload and add in. I know with me I have to go back to work and it is usually a week to 2 weeks before I have time to start something like that. Did you try doing a regular Google search? It pulls information from this site as well as all of the others. Edited February 28, 2014 by Mysticks1

I understand people go back to work, etc. I just thought someone would have posted something by now somewhere, people who may not work, still be off, retired, etc... maybe on another site. RuthlessBoss Posted February 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2014 When you consider the ratio of people from CC to the number of people who actually sailed, it's not unreasonable. Yes, there have been a few blurbs here and there, but a review takes a very dedicated person to put in the time to write extensively about the ship. vanchelle Posted March 2, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Sorry I didn't take many pictures but may be able to answer some questions! We are at the terminal now waiting to depart on our bus to the airport:( sad vacation is over! The trip was great-yes they are still doing a bit of construction when in port but nothing noticeable or intrusive. Hasbro game show was not open but red frog/bonsai were open and nice. Waterworks was open most if the time but not all the time. People who rode the slides seemed to enjoy it. Any specific questions? I will do a review this week. vanchelle Posted March 2, 2014 #8 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Yellow twister was open! Though it seems to need more water as teens and adults were gettig stuck:) Green was open as well! The spash bucket is in an odd place- when it runs and your cruising with wind it sprays the serenity deck behind it :)

I suppose there is only so much room and only so many places that they can put things on a cruise ship LOL

Velvetwater Posted March 2, 2014 #12 Share Posted March 2, 2014 To piggy back the last post....did anything seemed freshened up in the cabins? TV's, carpeting, bedding....etc.? The dry dock post/video confirms new carpet and mattresses in some cabins.

vanchelle Posted March 2, 2014 #17 Share Posted March 2, 2014 How were the playlist productions and was the serenity spray really bad?I spend most of my time on serenity lol. It was only bad on last day-Saturday. We were hauling a$$ with speed because there was a crew medical emergency that required us to head toward eke west to meet the coast guard helicopter for a pick up. Once we were in is waters they cleared the serenity deck bc that's where they basketed medical assistance down and picked up the sick/injured crew member. I didn't notice the spray on the other sea day. Otherwise serenity was great but crowded. Where there any bands in red frog that you could dance to? Mostly singers with guitar- James or Angie....both pretty good but didn't see dancing. Red frog was surprisingly quiet-twice we saw them pull red frog wait staff to help upstairs as the piano bar (which was a blast with TC!) Also was Willie good as a CD? I liked Willie and mike-the ACD. We me them both at our net and greet for a bit and saw them thoughput the cruise. We didn't go to the epic rock or Motown shoes as they didn't interests is in least. We saw jack Rene hypnotist (fair) and the comedy variety show last night-enjoyable. We preferred the piano bar (two nights) and deck party mid week. Otherwise we walked/window shopped and used casino. We aren't late night people so often went to bed by 12. Medusas lair- nightclub was rarely busy. Thanks so much! Answers above! I also meant to ask you if your cabin was every cleaned. I say your post last week about your cabin not being ready when you arrived, the dust, the beds, the glass doors. Do you believe the dust was from the construction? Did they fix it for you and have someone come clean it up?
Bulldog13 Posted March 2, 2014 #21 Share Posted March 2, 2014 On the Legend as we speak. All new venues appear to be open and operating as normal. I will find out about different shows they have added throughout the week. I will have cell signal for about the next 45 minutes if you want to know anything specific. Bulldog13 Posted March 2, 2014 #25 Share Posted March 2, 2014 Hey Bulldog Is there any trouble on the Legend? thought it was supposed to leave over 2 hours ago.. Have you seen any building work? There was a medical emergency. We had pulled away from the pier and immediately pulled back up to it and were met by an ambulance and fire truck. They offloaded one passenger on a stretcher. He appeared to be alert, but they took him to the hospital. I have not seen any construction work at all. Nothing other than the typical maintenance work while in port. Everything looks to be be completed and up and running. Enjoyed the Red Frog Pub for a while this afternoon and the Bonsai sushi opened for dinner at 5 as scheduled. The Cherry On Top is stocked and I assume will open when the other shops open tonight. All waterworks slides were running. Ship looks very clean on the inside and we were commenting on how fresh it looks as we boarded.
