MavisMarie Posted March 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2014 We are on the 5/4/2015 TA (Brilliance) from Tampa to Harwich. We would like to disembark 1 night early in Zeebrugge, Belgium instead of the next morning in Harwich, England. Does anyone know if this is possible? What procedures do we need to take to accomplish this? Thanks, as always, for your help. :)

pollux Posted March 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 5, 2014 In Europe you can disembark in any city. Just let the cruise line know so they want think you missed the ship. Europe in not under the law as here in the US.

Europe in not under the law as here in the US. Actually some European counties such as Italy and Denmark do have cabotage laws somewhat similar to the USA's PVSA. While often one can end a cruise early in Europe, sometimes it is not possible and one needs to try and arrange this in advance with the cruise lines so they can verify if it is legal and ensure everything is in place logistically if it can be done. pollux Posted March 6, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 6, 2014 Gonzo 70, I never had any problems getting of in any EU country. Maybe because I am of a certain age and have enough income to stay in the EU as long as I want.
