Melting Cake

I just had to share that I made my own melting pot, as I call it :) It came out really good and I just had to share. It's my half way point between cruises - went on the Splendor out of NY and we are cruising on the Sunshine this August out of Port Canaveral.

We make it for special occasions - very yummy! It's nice doing it at home and controlling how well done it is. I don't think the "official" recipe states to do so, but bake it in a hot water bath to get the best texture - that's how they do it onboard. :)

We got the recipe during Chef's Table. The Chef did say if doing it in ramekins to put in a hot water bath. However, he said you could do it in a baking pan without the water bath.
