Carrying on canned soda question

I've found that when we travel to the states and order a pop they look at us like we have 3 heads! :) Our pop is their soda.

Interesting thread though, going to use these tips for my trip next week.

We put 2 unopened 12 pack cans of soda in our rolling bag and stuck in 2 bottles of wine wedged between them with bubble wrap. This was in Miami and it went through the machine and they let us go. I looked back and they were making a couple take their sodas out. No rhyme or reason, just depends.

 

We will likely do it this way again this May.

If you do tape it up just bring some extra tape. If they open it you can re tape it :)

We bring on bottles beacuse you can save the rest.

 

Also you can bring on soda in each port.

Seriously, depending on which side of the fence you're on, some call it "pop" and some call it "soda". Or you can be all inclusive and call it "soda-pop".
