The forever cruiser Posted March 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2014 I can't decide on which itinerary to go with, the southern (grand turk, aruba, curacao) or eastern (grand turk, st Thomas, San Juan, St. Marten). We've been to St Thomas (which is always fun) and San Juan (only been there at night) before. Looking for just a fun time touring the islands, beaching it, etc. Thanks for any feedback. bjd2 Posted March 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2014 We've done both of these but with also LaRomana Dominican with the southern route. I want to do them both again! If you haven't done either, I'd do the eastern first but hopefully someday you can do the other too. :D

Since you have already done the St. Thomas and San Juan...I would definitely do the Western. :o

cbreit Posted March 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted March 16, 2014 Definitely Southern! Grand Turk is now one of my favorite ports, as well as Aruba..

vamartha Posted March 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted March 16, 2014 If I could do Grand Turk, Dominican Republic, Curacao and Aruba again I would in a heartbeat, no questions asked! 8 day cruise was fantastic, the ports were amazing and I had a blast in each and every one of them! That was probably a once in a lifetime itinerary for me but I loved ever minute of it!

Out to sea! Posted March 16, 2014 #10 Share Posted March 16, 2014 As I have never done a Southern and have been on several Eastern cruises, I would pick the Southern.
Crusin Hogs Posted March 16, 2014 #11 Share Posted March 16, 2014 Done both Southern is the best
The forever cruiser Posted March 16, 2014 Author #12 Share Posted March 16, 2014 I think I'm leaning towards the Southern after all the posts. Thanks so much. It's very helpful.:)
