Disney Dream 3 night- pirate night?

Is pirate night the night we will be in the Bahamas? Would love any tips or info for this?? We are doing first seating and wonder what the best plan for the evening will be?

Typically, pirate night is night 2 on the 3 night Bahama cruises. It could be moved for various reasons (weather, staffing problems), but most likely night 2.

There are 2 pirate shows. One between the two dinner seatings - more family friendly with Disney characters (Mickey, et al). And the second after the second seating - more scary (Jack Sparrow-type) with fireworks following.

The only planning you need to do is to decide whether you will go to 0, 1, or 2 pirate "parties." As noted, there is an earlier show between the two dinner seatings and a later one after late dinner. The early one is listed as "Mickey's pirate party" and is more kid oriented. The later one has characters, but is definitely more "grown up." The buffet follows the fireworks.

As to dressing up or not--totally up to you. You won't be out of place regardless of your decision.
