PASSENGERES Posted March 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2014 We have a full day and overnight in Barcelona during our June cruise and have heard great reports about the aquarium there. Has anyone visited it? Would love to hear your comments and advice as to where about the aquarium is situated in Barcelona. Is it anywhere near the port? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

PASSENGERES Posted March 27, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Many thanks for your quick and extremely helpful reply. Those websites give lots of detail. Is it a good idea to book tickets in advance to avoid spending time in a queue?
campolady Posted March 27, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2014 So glad you found the links useful. I would certainly book in advance for the Aquarium - time in Barcelona is too precious to waste it queuing. Only 9 days until we are there for the day! PASSENGERES Posted March 28, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted March 28, 2014 Thanks - we will book online for the aquarium to save time. We have been to Barcelona a few times and have done most of the tours and sightseeing, hence our query re the aquarium. It is a great city and always a pleasure to return. Byron_1978 Posted November 29, 2016 #6 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Hi, did you manage to go to the aquarium? We are in Barcelona for 2 days in May. We are planning either a visit to the Zoo (which we already did a couple of years ago) or the aquarium.
EnricM Posted November 29, 2016 #7 Share Posted November 29, 2016 Always go to the source. I always advise against intermediaries, moreover when these are not even in the same country -the first link above is from ticketing company based in the UK. There are numerous reasons, yet the main ones tend to be: extra cost -the markup of some intermediaries is hefty- and to avoid fraud -sadly being Barcelona such a popular destination there are crooks trying to make a buck illegally. Who are you going to complain if you get taken for a ride, especially if buying to an intermediary that's in a different jurisdiction altogether? Not saying all intermediaries are untrustworthy, of course, but why risk it when you can get it online straight from the source? Your choice, of course.
