You can get a taxi to Piraeus metro station (green line - cost 5-6 euro) and next go to Monastiraki with train. 2. In Monastiraki station has luggage lockers (I don't know the cost) 3. You can use the metro (blue line from Monastiraki) for going to Airport (8 euro per person) 4. You can visit National Archaeological Museum (metro green line from Monastiraki to Victoria's square)
karenbeanpole Posted March 30, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted March 30, 2014 Thanks for your help. Do you know if I should get a day pass or something for the metro? Or should we just buy each journey as we go along?
Anapli Posted March 31, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 31, 2014 Thanks for your help.Do you know if I should get a day pass or something for the metro? Or should we just buy each journey as we go along? The simple metro ticket (for all metro lines except airport line) cost 1.40 euro and is valid for 90 minutes. There is and a 4 euro ticket and is valid for 24 hours (for all metro lines except airport line too). These tickets are valid for local buses and trolley lines too. karenbeanpole Posted May 24, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted May 24, 2014 Just had a change of plans - any idea how much it would cost by taxi to go all the way from the port to Athens centre? Sent from my iPad using Forums
