caneguy Posted April 19, 2014 Author #376 Share Posted April 19, 2014 The pics from the All Access tour were amazing as were all of your pics! Well done! Thanks so much for your post. Glad you liked the pictures!! Sometime I get lucky taking a picture. Thanks for posting your review. Enjoyed reading it on this Good Friday with nothing to do at work. Why do they make us come in on Fridays before a holiday? Everybody surfing the net. LOL!! Now to go and find your Allure review to help me knock out this last 1 1/2 hours. LOL!! Yes, I worked on Good Friday as well, but was a little busy. Glad I was able to keep you amused for the day! Usually close the office for the afternoon, but had to much work to finish. Thanks for reading the review. Hope you found the Allure review Allure 1-6-13 with pictures

caneguy Posted April 20, 2014 Author #380 Share Posted April 20, 2014 DAY 7 At Sea What?!? I though this review was over… well I am sorry it took so long for me to post the final day on this wonderful cruise. Had so much stuff going on, …yada…yada…yada…blah…blah….blah… OK so now you know why, so here goes.. Tip for today: Really read over the Compass!. I just noticed when looking at day seven just now that there was a Backstage tour of the of the Opal theater!. I would have loved to do that, but did not notice it when I just glanced at the Compass when I was on board. And use “The Planner” which is a day by day schedule of things going on the Oasis, but not as detailed as the daily Compass. It’s a SALE, SALE, SALE, day on day 7. Almost every retail store, OK EVERY RETAIL store has a sale on day 7. Some of the stores even have the sign that I always look for when I am shopping in my favorite stores, 50-75% OFF!. The Royal Promenade looked like Sawgrass Outlet Mall, here in South Florida, on day seven. There are T-shirts for $10, Invicta, Citizen, Casio, Fossil watches for up to 70% off, you name it, it was on sale. So I rushed up to the future cruise sales office to see if that was 50% off, but I am sorry to say, no it was not, oh well. Some of the sales did not start until 1 PM, so there were lines outside of the stores waiting for the sale to begin, did you see me waiting in one of them? SO today I did some shopping, walking around the ship one more time and did a double lunch having to finish the cruise with my two favorites, Roast Beef at Park Café, and Tutti Salad in the MDR. For dinner we once again went to 150 Central Park to enjoy the second menu. Both menus were a great experience but I liked the 1st one a little better. (sorry no food porn again). We packed up our suitcase and left it out when we went for dinner. Used our carry-on for the last items needed for the night and the next morning. We had a nice breakfast before we left the Oasis on Saturday morning. Some final pictures PROUD PAPA WITH HIS GIRLS BEFORE DINNER SOLARIUM ST. THOMAS HARBOR (had some fun playing with contrast and saturation with this picture) ZIP LINE AND BASKETBALL ON THE OASIS RISING TIDE BAR FOLIAGE OF CENTRAL PARK
caneguy Posted April 20, 2014 Author #381 Share Posted April 20, 2014 a few more pictures.. POOL TIME LOOKING INTO CENTRAL PARK (this one is really from my Allure cruise but I like is as a closing picture) So that's about all for this review. I hope you enjoyed the review and got some information to help you plan or want to book a cruise on the Oasis of the Seas!!
caneguy Posted April 20, 2014 Author #382 Share Posted April 20, 2014 Without a doubt the best pictures I've seen on CC. I've loved them all! Great review, and timely since we leave in a month. Thanks again. THANK YOU so much!! I found out the best way to take a good picture is to take about 1000 and maybe you get a few good ones! Have a great time on your cruise Congrats to your son, that sounds like quite an honor! :) Thanks for the review, photos are just amazing!!! I am hoping to try Oasis the next year and now the waiting to book is going to be torture. :o He is really excited about his internship! Thanks for reading the review and posting. You will love the Oasis! This was our 3rd time on an Oasis class ship and there are still things I did not get to do on the ship, there is so many activities. megacruiser Posted April 20, 2014 #384 Share Posted April 20, 2014 (edited) Congratulations caneguy on a fantastic review with wonderful photos and such a warm writing style. I know and appreciate the effort and perseverence required to put such a review together. You covered so many things that I missed and I have thoroughly enjoyed following along. As for favourite photo, for the same reason that I loved the one you posted some weeks ago, it is the one below - because it made me think, how did he get that shot? metphan714 Posted April 21, 2014 #388 Share Posted April 21, 2014 Thank you caneguy for this awesome review, the fact that it took you longer to complete this review prevented me from 'binge' watching but, like a good TV series, also made me anxious for the next 'episode'

caneguy Posted April 22, 2014 Author #390 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Hello once more... I mentioned that a walk up or better yet down the stairs is something that should be done to view the wonderful artwork on the landings between the decks. Here are a few pictures, but they do not come close to the real beauty of the artwork.
joand452 Posted April 23, 2014 #391 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Well done! Very enjoyable review and photos. I love the one from the Allure, looking down on to the AT and the wake. Here's a hint for those not going on the All Access Tour (friends said the same thing about working in the laundry) -- if you go on the walking track on Deck 5, go all the way around to the aft. After you've admired the wake and maybe had a little sit-down in one of the teak chairs there, turn around and there will be a window that gives you a great view of the AquaTheater seats. Unless there's a show or rehearsal going on, the curtain should be open. Enjoy!!

caneguy Posted April 25, 2014 Author #399 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Wow! I love the shots through the solarium windows. Just beautiful. Thank you so much! Funny, I was out front and the wind was so bad it was moving my tripod, so I went into the solarium to avoid the wind and got some good shots. Have to be lucky sometimes. thanks fo reading the review and posting that you followed.
