retiredgram Posted April 15, 2014 #4 Share Posted April 15, 2014 If it is true, you'll be on the cleanest ship around when it sails. Remember, it is just rumors for now.
Rare silentbob007 Posted April 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted April 15, 2014 They will generally quarantine if someone reports gastrointestinal issues. Not special to any super outbreak or anything. The confusion was that Enchantment would also be eos ... :)

adkboy Posted April 16, 2014 #7 Share Posted April 16, 2014 My daughter received a text message earlier today from our friends in San Juan, currently on this cruise, to remind us to bring seasick medicine (we are sailing this Saturday). So maybe its just a case of rough seas and not a virus. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Sent from my iPhone using Forums They will try to get ahead of it to limit exposure if they can and if that means the need to quarantine sick guests they will do so. Grandeur just had back to back issues even after a thorough cleaning between cruises. I hope this is just a few people and is taken care of before your cruise. chengkp75 Posted April 16, 2014 #13 Share Posted April 16, 2014 Friends ARE sick. The rumor is about quarantine. It was heard by someone who is currently on that ship. Sent from my iPhone using Forums Any one who reports to the medical center with GI symptoms will be asked to quarantine themselves until symptoms pass, regardless of cause. Many, many cruises have one or two cabins in quarantine. There are very few cruises that have no cases of GI illness.
