sarawithanh Posted April 18, 2014 #1 Share Posted April 18, 2014 Hello, Has anybody visited the Casino? Our hotel is right next to the Casino. I know it costs like 10 Euro just to get into the casino - is there a dress code? Shoulders covered etc etc? Will I be able to use my Chase Sapphire Preferred card in Monaco? Thanks. Rare Hlitner Posted April 18, 2014 #3 Share Posted April 18, 2014 Also ask your hotel's Concierge if they have any kind of discount of free casino admission for customers of the hotel. Hank

nana541 Posted April 22, 2014 #6 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Sarah go to the Casino website and double check on dress code and entrance fee. Also the req for a passport...straight to the horses mouth in this case is best! Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
sarawithanh Posted April 22, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted April 22, 2014 Thanks Nana. I did, but it still isn't entirely clear: "Identity card is compulsory" <--does this mean I can bring my drivers license? I'd prefer to leave our passports in the hotel safe if we don't need them..... http://www.montecarlosbm.com/luxury-casinos-monaco/monte-carlo-casino/

sarawithanh Posted April 23, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted April 23, 2014 Yes Nana - my 87 year old grandfather lives by himself in a 3 level townhouse and still DRIVES!!! never been in an accident. knock on wood. I will ask hotel concierge I guess. grandpa asked me if I can find out information on the "odds" for craps and blackjack. The montecarlo casino website is NOT INFORMATIVE. I will send them an email...

Just so you know...right across from the front of the MC Casino is the American Casino..no passport required.way less formal(means not formal) and I think the odds may be better as well.A lot more fun. Daisyduke70 Posted April 29, 2014 #11 Share Posted April 29, 2014 We stayed in the Hotel De Paris a few years ago, dress was definitely smart. We got in free because of our hotel....but have to say we were in and out of there in 10 minutes....we were very disappointed in the place.
