petesweet Posted April 28, 2014 #76 Share Posted April 28, 2014 The shower in the cabin is not great for anyone, but for someone of exceptional size it a challenge, but its not that bad after one shower you figure out how you have to work it. The bathroom door is also a tight fit, but its not like I cannot make it in there. I've read that on some ships (some cruise lines) you can shower in the gym/spa area at no extra charge. Believe that would be roomier and more comfortable. I can't remember which ships this has been referenced. Kathy
marylp Posted April 28, 2014 #77 Share Posted April 28, 2014 Go to the spa for the huge showers. Cabin showers are very narrow and I'm grossed out because the curtain will stick to you. My shower at home is very Wide. The spa showers are free.
sweetshell637 Posted April 28, 2014 Author #78 Share Posted April 28, 2014 I wonder if you can request a table close to the door to eliminate this problem? I will be traveling on my next cruise with someone in this same situation. This thread is helpful to me for that reason, and I might check about the MDR table assignment. Happy sails.:) Kathy Yea i might do that! glad i can help someone else out too!
sjcruiser Posted April 28, 2014 #79 Share Posted April 28, 2014 I don't think you'll have a problem at all, but some in my family prefer a table over a booth due to a snug fit. That's the only consideration which I know they have an issue with or prefer a change, not to be seating at. The other seating on deck, or on the Lido is not an issue.
