How do you get to X-caret

I need to get from the pier to X-caret on our own! How do we do that!

Great question! I was getting ready to post this same thread, so I'm anxious to hear the answer as well.

Take a taxi (safest)or a bus or hitchhike. Have passport with you as there are military roadstops to cross.

You might want to think about going to X-Caret from Cozumel. Costa Maya's pretty far to be going there from there.

If you want to go to Xcaret it is definetely better from Cozumel. It is a 3 hour car ride from Costa Maya and only a 30 minute ride from Playa Del Carmen. You need to take the ferry from Cozumel to Playa Del Carmen and then find some transport to Xcaret.
