Aquahound Posted May 18, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Going to Alaska in Aug. Need advice on good Alaskan beer's. Nothing on the heavy side. Thanks I loved the different beers of the Alaskan Brewing Co. The Amber was my favorite, but the White and the IPA were also really good. Also, if your trip includes Seward, go to the Seward Brewing Co. My favorites were the Sunshine Ale and their IPA. Their stout was also delicious, but you said you don't want heavy. Celebrity also carries the Alaskan on board. I would venture to guess most of the ships out of Alaska do.
RoxnDox Posted May 18, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Yup, their Amber, White, and Summer ought to fit your desires ;-) All very tasty... Sent from my iPad using Forums
sherryf Posted May 18, 2014 #8 Share Posted May 18, 2014 Yup, their Amber, White, and Summer ought to fit your desires ;-) All very tasty... My 3 favorites! I'm lucky enough to live in the PNW where I can buy their beers year round. I like their Winter too. I don't drink much beer, but when I do, it's Alaskan! Ashland Posted May 19, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 19, 2014 If you happen to be sailing on RCI Radiance they have now partnered up with the Alaskan Brewing Company...and have (as we speak) changed Rita's Cantina to Rita's Crabshack where the Alaska beers will be offered..this is good news in that we'll be sailing again on her May 30th.
