Hi There,

We'll be travelling on the Solstice in January around New Zealand. Can you tell me if the roof of the Solarium pool is capable of being opened on sunny days?:)

I've been on a number of S-Class ships and have never seen the roof open. To my knowledge the glass roof is fixed and doesn't open.

No, the Solarium roofs do not open on Solstice Class.

Actually while on the Solstice in the Caribbean, they had panels which opened in the Solarium. But the roof does not retract, just a couple of window panes that the crew MAY open to allow breezes through. But they are high on the roof, and I believe that they have to request the engineers open them. Not sure if they can be opened electronically or if they have to be opened mechanically.
