Widebay Posted May 23, 2014 #6 Share Posted May 23, 2014 Definitely, Marina Bay Cruise Terminal (for the large ships) To get there by public transport - Board the North West MRT train, and get off at Marina Bay Station, walk towards Central Boulevard from the station, exit B, board Bus402, near Marina Bay Financial Centre(Tower 3), alight from the bus at Marina Bay Cruise Terminal....otherwise get a taxi, which are cheap & plentiful. Smaller ships go to Harbourfront Cruise Terminal.
no fuss travel Posted May 24, 2014 #7 Share Posted May 24, 2014 Taxis are reasonable in Singapore. It does not really matter where your hotel is, just pick one that you wish to stay in.

wangeling gal Posted May 26, 2014 #10 Share Posted May 26, 2014 Azamara definitely sails from the older Singapore Cruise Terminal. This is a great place to leave from as it is connected to one of the largest shopping centres in Singapore, which is very handy if you have forgotten anything, or if you want a break from the ship, but aren't comfortable to go to far. It has an MRT which makes it super easy to get to the rest of the city and plenty of taxis (follow the signs). We found there were plenty of people there to help, and boarding was a dream. Hope you have the most amazing of cruises:D
Rare Keith1010 Posted May 26, 2014 #11 Share Posted May 26, 2014 We have been to Singapore many times including this past spring. Yes in general the larger ships are now docking at the newer terminal. You can get taxis from either terminal and prices are good as are the drivers and vehicles. They are building the subway out to the new terminal but that is likely a couple of years away from completion. Keith

Keith Marina South pier mrt station, about 600 meter from Marina South cruise terminal with covered link way, should be operational later this year.
