Is Uvero beach open to the public?

I see that it is offered as a cruise excursion but can you just catch a taxi there? Also, does anyone (or nitrogenaddict) know of a more secluded beach than the one at Majahaul if it is real crowded.

Nitrogenaddict,

Can you compare Uvero to Majahaul? Can massages be had for $20 for 30 min?

Thanks,
Chris

I don't know if it's open to the public. It seemed to be all ships groups when we were there.
I had a massage and it was $20 for 30 min. The massuere was great and it was so nice to be able to hear the ocean and feel the breeze!

spfar,

Can't wait to get a massage! Did you get yours at Majahaul? It seems that most ships offer a tour to Uvero but I guess it's still possible it is a public access beach.

Thanks,
Chris

No I got it at Uvero Beach. There's a little building down the beach from where the chairs are. He walks around early in the day taking appointments or you can walk down there and check the schedule. He's very good!
