Any small islands/sandbars off the coast on Mahahual?

Mahahual has a fringe reef or Barrier reef running from North to South. Approximately 800 yards off shore. This is known as the Mesoamerican Reef System. The second largest in the world, and we all know where the other one is. The nearest islands are situated at the Banks of Chinchorro. This an atoll directly East of Mahahaul but 28 miles away. On cruise ship days it is not possible to visit the atoll. It takes 2 to 2 and a half hours to reach it and it must be a calm day.
