The Phoenixx Posted June 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 5, 2014 I have been looking for price drops because of the posts here, but it never seemed to drop for my cruise. WELLLLLLLL a $20 price drop! Hey don't judge me, that is about 2 drinks. So my dilemma is I booked with a TA so I don't know how to go about getting the credit. (I would search the boards, but I don't have time and I have purposely skipped any posts regarding them because I was jealous I hadn't gotten one :D ) But I want my $20 so, do I call Carnival or my TA? Thanks Bunches
LibbyJanesMommy Posted June 5, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 5, 2014 Call your travel agent, they will call Carnival on your behalf.
MCC retired Posted June 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2014 You have to do it thru your TA. Your TA can do any adjustments that you may qualify for . Hopefully your TA does not charge change fees, most don't . Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
botbienvn Posted June 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2014 If you booked Early Saver rate and the fare dropped, you would receive OBC even if you booked with a TA. The difference is that to claim for a price drop, you need to call your TA, who will contact Carnival to request for a price adjustment on your behalf. denrusk Posted June 5, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 5, 2014 First you have to be booked early saver. If you are call your TA and they will need to send the form in or call for you, Carnival will not speak to you about your booking. Eng23 Posted June 5, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 5, 2014 you dont have to be early saver if you are not past the final payment date. That's how I understand it. Only those who book Early Saver can get credit for price drops "after" the final payment date.
