Booked my cruise and out of Jacksonville and have looked to save a little money on parking, found some that are about 10 mins away and was wondering how that work with your luggage? Do they drop it off or do I need to drop it off before I go park there? I've only been on one cruise before and don't remember.

Virtually all lots will have a shuttle that will take you and your luggage to the ship.

Are you driving in day of or spending the night before the cruise in Jacksonville? If you are spending the night, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Blount Island. They have a great park and cruise program. They are the closest hotel to the port and will shuttle you there and pick you up after. We have sailed out of Jacksonville twice and stayed there both times.

Ditto. Sailed out of Jax in March and booked a park and stay at HIE Blount Island. Best hotel ever.

Definitely research the alternative lots you are looking at, since some are not the best due to lack of security, etc. Sometimes it's better to pay that little bit of extra money for a little piece of mind. :)
