sirfuller Posted June 9, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Hotels near the cruise terminal are downtown. Although, the airport is not that far from the port in comparison with other cities. You can find deals on those sites that don't tell you the hotel name until you book. Sent from my Samsung Victory using Forums mobile app
beachbum53 Posted June 9, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) Welcome to Cruise Critic! As far as choosing a cabin, take a look at the deck plan of the ship you'll be on. See what's above, below, to the left and right, and across from the cabin you're considering. Are there any public spaces, such as a lounge, casino, bar, dining area or anything where noise might be an issue? If you're susceptible to motion/sea sickness, choose a cabin that's midship and nearer to the top of the ship. Typically, the best area is on a deck where you have other cabins above and below you. Hope you have a great cruise! Edited June 9, 2014 by beachbum53
goose30 Posted June 9, 2014 #4 Share Posted June 9, 2014 The higher on the ship that you go the more you feel the side to side motion.
